On August 23, 2024, RFK Jr. dropped out of the presidential race and threw his support behind his former opponent, Donald Trump. Given his unique history as a successful environmental activist/lawyer and a member of the most storried political family of the last 100 years, RFK Jr. has an unparralleled view of Donald Trump’s strengths, weaknesses, challenges and plans. We can learn much about Donald Trump and the stark contrast between his policies and those of Kamala Harris by studying the words of Kennedy’s campaign-ending speech.
